Artist Boyarde Messenger was given the task of turning the gorgeous signature Charlotte Olympia platform heels into custom shoes inspired by famous artists.
She carefully and painstakingly hand painted each of the designer shoes with the iconic paintings that signified a revolution in the art world, turning heels into canvases. The artist recreated works such as Van Gogh's Starry Night, Jackson Pollock's intricate paint splatters and, my personal favorite of the series, the pop art Howard Hodgkin 'Dolly.'
Any woman who is an admirer of the arts and prefers to wear finely crafted shoes will absolutely die for this limited edition collection. Only 100 pairs of the Charlotte Olympia custom shoes by Boyarde Messenger were made.
