When interior design software was released to facilitate the creation of a custom house, homeowners were elated to be able to step into the role of the designer in order to see their dream home come to life. Now, Point.P is taking this technology further with the aid of virtual reality.
Point.P's Virtual Reality Custom Home allows a homeowner to put on a pair of Oculus Rift glasses and see the inside of their space. Within the virtual scene, some items are able to be singled out and swapped for others, making it possible to see a variety of different finishes, fixtures and colors in the home.
