'Cup Noodle XV' is a Collaborative Parody of 'Final Fantasy XV'

Nissin, the company that produces Japan's beloved Cup Noodle, and Square Enix, the video game producer behind the famous 'Final Fantasy' franchise, have teamed up to create 'Cup Noodle XV.' The project is an absurd parody of 'Final Fantasy XV,' the brand new release in the fantasy role-playing franchise, in which the characters and locales are replaced with various references to the ramen noodle cups.
Though certainly a silly collaboration, Cup Noodle XV has a logic behind its inception. The offices for Square Enix and Nissin Foods are both located in Tokyo, and in fact, they are only a four-minute walk from one another. As such, the two companies have established a neighborly relationship. Upon the release of 'Final Fantasy XV,' Nissin sent Square Enix a gift of several cases of Cup Noodles, and so the video game company returned the favor with Cup Noodle XV.
