The teenage years are an emotionally turbulent time, which is why a group of passionate high school students came together to create the CryBaby Zine.
Based out of Montclair, New Jersey, this youth-run publication serves as a platform of self-expression and as an exploration of youth culture. The publication, which features a dynamic online presence doesn't shy away from hard-hitting topics, like heartbreak, mental health, grief and major life changes. Through facilitating difficult conversations, this zine has effectively created an online space that combats the negativity that's so common in the online world.
Moreover, the zine's popularity has resulted in its impressive social media following, while also attracting big names - most recently the zine conducted an interview with Sean Baker, the Director of The Florida Project.
