Riot Games Collaborated with the Crisis Text Line

Riot Games recently indicated that it entered into a new partnership with Crisis Text Line, which is a not for profit organization that facilitates mental health texting free of charge. The new agreement that members of the gaming community will be able to access mental health support, as well as education surrounding healthy gaming activities. Gamers in the United States and Canada can access the services by texting “RIOT” to 741741.
Crisis Text Line initially began operating in 2013 and since then it offers text message services in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Ireland. Counselors are trained in providing support for various issues related to mental health including bullying, depression, anxiety, and abuse.
