Zavial's Holiday Cards Play on 'Festive Fears'

If you're a fan of Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas, you're probably going to enjoy these creepy Christmas cards by the Zavial agency. The unusual set of cards are themed around Festive Fears, inspired by a number of very real Christmas phobias. Some of these strange fears include opening presents, getting a kiss under the mistletoe or even the fear of the noise that comes with opening up a Christmas cracker represented by terrifying illustrations of holiday essentials like evergreens and living presents.

Illustrated by Isaac Sutterby, the creative agency printed the creepy designs and shipped them out to clients. In contrast to the many other Christmas cards that offer snuggly images of snowmen, glittery reindeer and warm typographic messages, this is one holiday card that's definitely going to stick in your mind.
