Gino's East of Chicago is celebrating National Pizza Month with a brand new Crackerjack pizza.
Developed by Gino's East Co-Owner Tod Himmel, the new Crackerjack pizza will be available throughout the month of October. This premium pizza starts with either a deep dish or a tavern-style thin crust, which is then topped with a blend of hot pepper jack and mozzarella cheeses, spicy pepperoni, bacon, and Calabrian chili oil. As Himmel explains in a recent press release, "I love making pizzas that combine unique and unexpected flavors. In this case, I wanted to pair a little bit of heat and a little bit of sweet. Just as the spicy from the pepper jack, pepperoni and chili hit your taste buds, the sweet crunch of the 'crack' bacon brings you back."
