'CoverScreen OS' is a new application launched on the Google Play store that aims to make the small front screen on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 more convenient. This screen, by default, can be used for simple widgets, such as a timer, clock, flashlight, or a viewfinder for the camera. It also allows users to read notifications and messages without flipping open the phone. However, once a message is opened or more features are desired, the user must open the phone and use the main screen.
CoverScreen OS aims to add to this list of features substantially. For example, CoverScreen allows users to scroll through Twitter, check WhatsApp messages, access payment services, open Google Maps and plan a route, and even watch YouTube videos. Essentially, this app turns the small front screen on the Galaxy Z Flip4 into a miniature smartphone display.
