The Counterweight Lighting collection is at once contemporary and timeless. Although the sleek minimalist lines speak to modern times, the combination of marble and polished brass materials can be harkened back to a past long gone. By using them in such a way, the Counterweight Lighting fixtures bring a simplistic touch of luxury to the home.
Designed by Gregory Buntain and Ian Collings of Fort Standard, a design studio based in Brooklyn, New York, the Counterweight Lighting collection is comprised of three models. One hangs from the ceiling like a mobile for adults. In this case, the marble definitely acts as a counterweight for each brass bar. The Counterweight Lighting collection also boasts a wall-mounted lamp and a floor lamp.
The Counterweight Lighting collection is currently being sold at Roll & Hill.
