If you're the sort of person who appreciates the feeling of sleeping out in the open, you'll most definitely be interested in what the Cosmos Bed concept would have to offer. Of course, the slumber pod could not deliver an authentically natural experience, it would do a spectacular job of simulating it.
Natalia Rumyantseva's design takes the shape of a capsule, providing the snoozing occupant with a privacy hood that keeps his head beneath shadows. Lining the entire inside of the shell are small and brilliant LED lights that illuminate like stars in the night sky.
What's more, the Cosmos Bed would have surround-sound speakers for playing your most relaxing music. The designer suggests that an aromatic diffuser and an integrated alarm clock would also enhance the futuristic bed frame.
