There are plenty of reasons why one may prefer to consume corn cut from the cob, but there's little incentive to undertake the tedious task. The Corn Peeler has been conceived specifically to make the job easier, faster and safer than if one were to attempt it with a kitchen knife.
It's interesting to note just how similar this invention is to a standard pencil sharpener, and in a way it operates in a comparable fashion. However, instead of shaving off the top half of each supple yellow seed, the perpendicular-angled blade pulls every one out from the root. Designed by Namita Baindoor, the Corn Peeler is safe enough for children's use, and ideal for restaurant chefs' efficiency.
