The 'TOCO' apple slicer and corer is the design work of Avichai Tadmor for OTOTO and identifies a charming method of preparing the fruit when making a snack or recipe. The tool maintains the form of a toucan that works by being positioned onto the top of an apple before being twisted to have the bird rotate around. The device will do double duty as it spins to spiral the flesh of the fruit, while also removing the core at the same time to speed up the preparation process when working with multiple apples.
The 'TOCO' apple slicer and corer maintains a blade-free design that instead utilizes a sharpish edge to make preparation a safer practice.
