Located in the midst of cork and olive trees in Évora, Portugal, this cork-tree hotel boasts 56 suites and gives its hotel guests the chance to be engulfed in Ecorkhotel’s contemporary and eco-minded lifestyle. Taking after traditional Portuguese architecture styles, the eclectic haven is designed to blend in with its surroundings as it is made entirely from recycled cork cladding. Designed by architect José Carlos Cruz, the stunning space is the first hotel to be made of 100% natural cork harvested from the native cork oak. The eco-friendly structure also uses geothermal and solar energy to be sustainable.
