Russian architect Koloskov Dmitry of KDVA Studio has created a cork armchair that's both elegant and unusual. Designed to combat mundane office furniture, this chair features a double-arched design that was inspired by the ancient east.
The arm chair is ecologically friendly, with both its chrome and cork properties being made of recycled material. The cork seating area features a simple design of a place to sit, and a place to rest your back - although, the back rest can recline by 5 degrees. The chair's legs are made from a plated chrome and descend directly from where they begin. This positioning gives the illusion that the chair is balancing on very thin legs.
The chairs are available in both brown or grey and represent a deviation from standard lounge design.
