It's incredible to think that something like this connected car could be within reach in the next few years. The concept of driverless vehicles is not new, yet with the AutoUber taxi, DXLab imagines a much more immersive experience to bring enhanced entertainment and convenience to the passenger.
You would order your AutoUber with the assistance of a smartphone app, and when it arrives, the autonomous vehicle would instantly sync with that very same handset. It would continue the TV show that you were watching in Netflix or project your Skype conference on a large screen before you. This connected car could even pick up your Amazon delivery on the way to collect you, and drive you across town for as little as a couple dollars. In its downtime, the AutoUber would keep up with repairs, detailing, fuelling and more.
