Microsoft recently launched a new collaborative task management app that helps you break down, organize and share your do-to lists. While there are a number of different work productivity apps available to consumers, 'GigJam' offers users a simplified platform for working exclusively with micro-tasks.
GigJam functions as a series of apps for desktops, tablets and smartphones. The app allows you to bring up any kind of business information, which is then formatted into simplified cards. You can circle any items you'd like to share with your colleagues and cross out anything that you would like to keep confidential. You can also choose to annotate the information with on-screen notes or audio comments. If a colleague is free, you can choose to collaborate with them in real-time. As Microsoft's Vijay Mital explains, the app ultimately provides "the ability to share atoms and molecules of work."
For now, the collaborative task management app is still in the production stages. However, Microsoft claims that GigJam will be ready for sale in the near future.
