Colgate and Perfect Corp. have teamed up to build an algorithm that will use augmented reality to visualize the effects of the brand's ‘Optic White Overnight Teeth Whitening Pen’ on the teeth of consumers. This tool works to accurately simulate the effects of the teeth whitening pen on the teeth after just two weeks of use. The AR aspect allows consumers to gauge the potential benefits of the product before committing to purchasing it.
“It’s exciting to work with a forward thinking brand to charter new categories and develop new algorithms and solutions that will change the way consumers shop and engage with teeth whitening tools,” said Alice Chang, Founder and CEO of Perfect Corp.
