This do-it-yourself coin sorter is built out of LEGO. Rather than spending your money on a tacky and cheap-looking coin sorter, this project will have you counting your cents in style.
The contraption uses the size of coins to be able to tell which slot they are dropped into. So while you will have to physically count your change yourself, this will make that task much easier and quicker.
Not only does this craft look rad, it also is brilliant in its sheer simplicity and usefulness on a day-to-day basis. While some people might tire of playing with blocks, it's comforting to know LEGO still has a place in everyday adult life.
