The Coco2 coconut-based infant formula has been announced by the brand as a new product for the Australian market to provide parents with a dairy-free option to provide to their baby.
The product was developed over the course of 10 years as a joint collaboration with the University of Queensland, parents and healthcare professionals alike. The product is formulated to closely mimic the nutrition and health benefits of breast milk with essential vitamins, minerals and fatty acids in the mix. The formula also has lauric acid thanks to its coconut base that's also found in breast milk to further enhance its digestibility.
General Manager Dr. Nicholas Bouchaia spoke on the Coco2 coconut-based infant formula saying, "Coco2 was born from the collaboration of parents, chemists, and professors, blending personal experience with scientific expertise. The infant formula was developed to address the growing demand for plant-based alternatives and offers an innovative solution for infants with lactose intolerance, cow’s milk protein allergies, and dietary restrictions.”
