CoContest is a new site that lets architects compete over your home remodel. The site lets those in need of renovations or remodeling post their projects. Once the projects are posted, users can skim through them until they find the one they want. CoContest is intended to let people get work done by firms from across the globe, not just across the street.
Users begin by posting the details of the job they want done, including the type of job (whole house, bar, room, etc...), square footage, budget and deadline. Firms then submit proposals which the user then picks from. The winning design is archived on the site for all to see, something which should help smaller firms get more recognition. You can check out a more detailed explanation of how CoContest works in the video, here.
