Christien Meindertsma loves to use gigantic needles to create her oversized knitted creations. At first you don’t realize the scale of what you looking at, but when you see the designer manipulating her broom handle-like knitting needles, you get the idea.
The Rotterdam-based artist Meindertsma designed and hand-knit these fabulous Flocks Rugs in the style of an Aran sweater. The floor coverings, which could also be used as wall art, are 100% wool gathered from 18 merino sheep.
