Subway's New Chipotle Cheesesteak is a Spicy Take on Steak and Cheese

This fall, Subway is reinventing a classic sandwich with the debut of the new Chipotle Cheesesteak. Though it may be a little messy to eat, the new sandwich is worth grabbing some extra napkins for.

The Cheesesteak is a classic Philadelphia dish that is made up of thinly sliced pieces of beefsteak and melted cheese, served in a long hoagie roll. While the dish is undoubtedly a classic, Subway is kicking things up a notch by giving the sandwich a spicy twist. In addition to steak and Monterey cheddar cheese, the new Chipotle Cheesesteak sandwich includes tomatoes, green pepper, lettuce, red onion, jalapeños, and a smoky Chipotle Southwest sauce. The whole thing is also served on the brand's new Sunflower Crunch bread for an unexpectedly gourmet twist.

If you can't handle the heat, Subway is also serving up a Signature Steak and Cheese Sub and a Chipotle Southwest Steak & Cheese Signature Wrap.
