Following the successful launch of its Cheesy Street Chalupas, Taco Bell is now testing an exciting new item: Chicken Al Pastor Street Chalupas.
The new Chicken Al Pastor Street Chalupas are inspired by the signature Al Pastor recipe of Puebla and Mexico City. Al Pastor generally consists of spit-grilled slices of pork marinated in bold spices and paired with fresh pineapple. Taco Bell's new Chicken Al Pastor Street Chalupas swaps pork for the brand's slow-roasted Cantina chicken, adds a bold chile spice blend, throws in a generous portion of cheese, and then wraps it all up in a street-sized Quesalupa-inspired shell. Each Chalupa is also topped with fresh cilantro and onion.
Currently a test item, the new Chicken Al Pastor Street Chalupas will only be available from Minneapolis locations at this time.
