Chain Shoes, designed by Tove Jansson and Per Emanuelsson, were the winners of the Shoemania design competition of 2009.
Designed for both ladies and men, the female version of the shoe looks like any other black high-heeled pump with chains hanging down the sole as heels. The male version of the Chain Shoes are comprised of loafers wrapped in rusted, brown chains.
While the footwear is completely unwearable, it makes for a nice showpiece for design and footwear lovers.
