I’ve seen simple shelves before, but I’ve never seen one that’s as small and basic as the Catalyst Shelf.
Korean designer Jiyoung Seo defines minimalism with the Catalyst Shelf. It’s a small silicone bar-shaped storage space that holds small items and no more than two books at a time. The flap on the top lets you use it as a bookmark for what you’re reading. It may not build a library, but there’s something wonderful about the Catalyst Shelf’s simplicity that everyone can enjoy.
