Castello’s ‘Creamy Havarti,’ formerly known as ‘Arla Havarti,’ has received a new name but still boasts the same buttery taste and a hint of tang. The specialty cheese will join Castello’s ‘Everyday’ product selection, offering consumers an authentic Danish recipe that uses 100% Canadian milk. The ‘Creamy Havarti’ cheese also contains no artificial colors or preservatives and comes in various flavors, including: ‘Jalapeno,’ ‘Herbs & Spices,’ ‘Roasted Garlic,’ ‘Smoked,’ ‘Garden Vegetable,’ ‘Dill,’ and ‘Steak Spice.’
The signature Castello taste will be sold under a brand new name. Still, Brendan McDonough, Senior Brand Manager of Castello Cheese Canada, assures Canadians that “[t]he addition of Castello Creamy Havarti to our Everyday portfolio allows Castello to continue offering Canadians the best tasting quality cheese they’ve come to know and expect from Castello[.] Bringing these two leading brands together also further strengthens Castello’s position as the number one specialty cheese in Canada.”
