Michael Hemsworth — September 19, 2020 — Marketing
The Nomo Caramel Filled Choc Bar is a new offering from the UK-based brand that will provide vegan consumers with a way to indulge their sweet tooth and satisfy cravings. The dairy-free bar is positioned as an alternative to milk chocolate and caramel, and maintains a free-from recipe that doesn't contain any gluten, nuts or eggs to boot. The bar will be available for purchase starting September 28 for consumers to pick up at Sainbury's locations with a larger rollout to Waistrose, Tesco and the brand's online store starting in mid-October.
Senior Innovation and Brand Manager of Kinnerton Confectionery Emma Perrett spoke on the Nomo Caramel Filled Choc Bar explaining, "One of our aims at Nomo is to develop mainstream flavors that we know customers will love regardless of whether they are vegan or have a food allergy. We know caramel is a flavor that many vegan and free from consumers have been missing out on, so we are delighted that the Caramel Choc Bar will be available in Sainsbury’s from the end of September.”
