Hertz is Launching a Service for Car Rental Subscription

Hertz has announced it will be starting a car rental subscription service titled Hertz My Car, where subscribers will get access to a number of different car types including sedans, crossovers, SUVs and trucks. The company is rolling out two subscription options. The tier one subscription has a price point of $999 and gives access to full-sized sedans, small SUVs and trucks, wheres the tier two subscription has a $1,399 price point and gives access to luxury sedans, regular SUVs and large trucks.
Hert's car rental subscription service will be released in Atlanta as well as Austin, two cities where the car rental company has not operated. Hertz sees this service as a potential alternative to traditional car ownership, especially in large cities that are seeing decreases in people purchasing cars.
