There are certainly attachments that enable people without the use of their legs to drive an automobile, but the Car for the Handicapped has been designed specifically to cater to wheelchair-bound drivers completely. The vehicle incorporates a roomy cabin with an overall compact plan, accommodating an operator and a single passenger in behind.
Filip Mirbauer and Jiří Krejčiřík have included a hydraulic system in their concept car that enables it to lower just 3.5 inches off of the ground for easy entry with a ramp. An adjustable backrest with no seat allows the driver to remain in his wheelchair and the broad front of the conveyance affords the space to roll in and out without hindrance. The electric vehicle holds its motor between the pair of wheels at the front and a hi-tech dashboard completes the innovative design of the Car for the Handicapped.
