Luxury hotel chain the Fairmont has an unique experiential amenity in the form of its Canine Ambassadors. With 10 currently greeting guests at different Fairmont hotels across the world, the program serves as a dynamic way to offer guests a meaningful and memorable experience that delights by delivering the unexpected.

In incorporating a canine concierge to remind guests of home, the brand is able to help them associate those warm feelings with their stay at the hotel.

Some of the Fairmont's infamous Canine Ambassadors include Monte, a golden retriever at the Fairmont Le Château Montebello and Edie, a white Boxer/Labrador Retriever mix based at the Fairmont Pittsburgh. All of the hotels that have Canine Ambassadors are pet-friendly and provide toys, treats, a mat and a guide to pet activities hosted at the hotel to pet guests upon arrival.
