'Bublr Bikes,' a nonprofit bike sharing organization, has announced its spring re-launch of its electric bicycles. Bublr’s e-bikes have a battery-powered motor that assists the rider in a number of riding conditions, such as when pedaling uphill or when pedaling long distances. Additionally, Bublr’s ebikes were ridden eight times as much as their standard pedal bikes in 2022, showing that there is significant demand for the e-bikes to make a return.
Bublr is re-launching its e-bikes for the season and bringing even more e-bikes into Milwaukee with 200 new electric bicycles, bringing the total number of e-bikes operated by Bublr up to over 400.
Bublr Bikes can be accessed for single-time rental fees or for longer-term passes that span the course of weeks, months, or even a year. It is important to note that the fees for Bublr are not for-profit, meaning they mostly cover operation costs and service expansions.
