Champagne makers Moët & Chandon hosted a bubblicous party at the Melbourne Cup horse race. The effervescent event space was designed by Austrian firm PTW Architects.
Bubbles projected on the ceiling, transparent chairs, white table settings and mirrored ball light fixtures created a light and fizzy atmosphere. Lycra fabric pulled in organic shapes also added to the feeling that one could actually be dining inside a bottle of champagne.
PTW Architects noted the event facility had been quoted by the press as an “avant-garde environment not of this earth.”
