American craft beer brand Brooklyn Brewery has announced the launch of an all-new beer product called 'Brooklyn Brewery x Yolélé Fonio White Beer.' The new craft brew features a distinct and delicious flavor profile thanks to its use of fonio, an ancient West African grain that Yolélé is bringing to the American market.
The limited-edition product blends the nutty taste of fonio with Brooklyn Brewery's signature fruity hops. In addition, it features a 5.6% ABV and will be sold at Whole Foods Markets starting this fall.
“We hope that this beer can do several things in the future beyond tasting delicious. It can serve as an educational opportunity promoting Fonio and other grains grown with sustainability in mind as viable ingredients in food products that can really make a difference in the world," said Miles Moser, Brooklyn Brewery's VP of Sales.
