Design company Brook & Lyn, which is ironically based in Los Angeles, has released a collection of solid hair accessories. Its barrettes are made of ceramic and brass materials, according them with a solid texture that is often absent in most clips.
Brook & Lyn's full collection of cermamic ponytail pieces will launch come February 2013. The set began with an initial test product and has since developed into a full fledged adornment line.
The brand has collaborated with Julie Hung of Jujumade. Hung is an advanced ceramicist who has produced similar products via bangles and even small models of feet. The merger blends alike styles and approaches to current fashion statements, particularly ones that have yet to be fully explored.
