Instagram's broadcast channels, which is a telegram-like messaging feature that only sends out content one way will be launching at a broader scale soon. As noted by CEO of Meta Mark Zuckerberg, he wrote on his own channel that the company is working on rolling out the feature at a global scale.
Prior to this, it was only available for select creators to use. The channel allows users to send out content to their followers, who are then able to react to them or participate in the polls but cannot respond directly to the user. It has been a platform that Zuckerberg has been using to share announcements and other updates on Meta's upcoming products.
