Giorgio Campana is an Italian designer who is truly original in his creative concepts. Even though his designs are versatile, they all share a common theme: Taking a day-to-day classic product and adding depth and complexity to it, which then turns it into a new and original concept.
One of his latest designs, The Patibolo, features a floor lamp that looks just like a patibolo, or a hangman's gallows. It is made of a painted steel structure, concrete base, and a rope hanging from the top, which seems to be used to turn the light on.
