Created in collaboration between Sharp Japan and telecommunications operator Softbank, these Star Wars-branded smartphones are set to be available to consumers in limited quantities.
Two versions of the smartphones will be available including The Dark Side and The Light Side, which are themed to be part of the Galactic Empire and the Rebellion, respectively.
Each of the smartphones will come preloaded with live wallpapers, sounds and other graphics that orient the devices towards being ideal for fans of the intergalactic franchise.
The Star Wars-branded smartphones are set to release in December to coincide with the upcoming release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in theaters. The devices will be available only in Japan in extremely limited quantities.
