Looxid retrofitted its VR brain monitor in order to be compatible with the Oculus Rift S through an EEG attachment. The reworked VR brain monitor is called the 'Looxid Link,' and it attaches to the top of the Oculus Rift S. This allows the device to get feedback from the user's forehead.
Looxid indicated that it will release more details about the VR-compatible brain monitor, as it was originally set to reveal the product at SXSW, however, the event was canceled.
The Looxid Link could have significant implications in the world of VR gaming, but also in the world of VR as a whole. This is because taking information from the user's brain allows them to control a system without the need for buttons or joysticks.
