80's Face Paint is Back in Fashion, and It's Bad
References: independent & style
My my, the 80's is back in vogue this season. Designer houses like Gucci, Sonia Rykiel, Topshop, and Alexander McQueen all showed powdered vamp looks with red lipstick and 80's heavy eyeliner looks, as seen in the gallery above. Style.com has even paired each image with a matching Boy George look to drive the point home.
I am not sure the designers have contemplated much on the fact that Boy George is actually banged up in prison at the moment looking nothing like a glam 80's icon. In fact, he probably looks more like a depressed bulldog. But then again, the designers have probably not sourced the Karma Chameleon directly. Let me go and put my red lipstick on!
