A canvas tote, one of the most common carrying bags, has been completely transformed into a luxury item thanks to Bottega Veneta. In New York, a common name for canvas totes is The Strand, a bookstore located near Union Square. The luxury fashion label has partnered with The Strand to remake the brand’s signature item into an all-new trio of leather goods. Led by a tote with Bottega’s Intrecciato leather weave, the collection offers two yellow and black options with bold red branding across the front.
The Strand and Bottega Veneta’s leather tote collection will launch on Sep 8, 2022 at Bottega Veneta’s website, in addition to the brand’s retail location in NYC. Each bag is priced differently, ranging from €1,500 EUR (approximately $1,492 USD) to €3,130 EUR (approximately $3,114 USD).
