The 'Bone Case' is a smartphone case that takes the existing technology that is used with smartphones and transitions it to utilize bone conduction technology in order to eliminate the need to use your ear canal to receive sound waves. The case works by being slipped over a smartphone and instantly enabling the transducers that are built-in to transmit sounds through your head to the bones in your inner ear. This makes it possible to hear without having to rely on actual sound waves, which means it could be used by someone who is hard of hearing or deaf because of ear canal or drum damage.
