The National Eating Disorders Association (also known as NEDA) has made November 1st to 5th Body Acceptance Week focusing on body positivity and has recently expanded to promote body neutrality and body liberation.
Participants can sign the body affirmation pledge, get educational handouts explaining the three types of body acceptances, and find handouts to help follow them. Through the social media hashtag #BodyAcceptanceWeek, participants can follow what others are doing to celebrate the week. Participants are encouraged to post the NEDA's Body Acceptance Week sharable graphics to promote solidarity for all body types and appreciation.
The National Eating Disorders Association, according to the brand, is committed "to eating disorder prevention, Body Acceptance Week provides resources, education, and support for those experiencing body dissatisfaction and its associated risk factors."
