The 2018 Bmw i3S is Designed to Be Fun to Drive

The 2018 BMW i3S is a response to everyone who said the automaker's pint-sized eco car was too boring to drive. The new i3 sits lower to the ground, having been dropped by a full inch. It rides on 20-inch wheels and has other small exterior tweaks to make it look sportier. The new BMW i3S is more powerful than the standard model. Its upgraded battery puts out 184 horsepower and 199 lb-ft of torque, up from the standard i3's 170 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque.
Inside the new BMW i3S is more or less identical to its less sporty twin. The only major difference is that the i3S has a "Sport" driving mode. In its most powerful setting the BMW i3S can do 0-60 mph in 6.8 seconds and hit a top speed of 100 mph. While the BMW i3S gets more power it still offers the same max range as before, 180 miles.
