The new Blue Note Bourbon™ offering is crafted in Memphis through an intricate process. The limited-release is blended in 10 casks from Kentucky and Tennessee. Ranging in age from four to 19 years, these casks include cognac, madeira, sherry, port, triple sec, apricot brandy, amontillado, vanilla cognac, and vino de Naranja. As such, the Special Reserve Straight Bourbon Whiskey boasts a complicated taste profile and a proof of 116.3 (roughly 58.15% ABV).
Whiskey enthusiasts are greeted with an aroma of bright fruit, cherry, peach, leather, oak and vanilla while the palete boasts a creamy and light sensation of oak, vanilla, roasted nuts, dark chocolate, and citrus.
