New Balance has launched a new black XC-72 sneaker. The XC-72 has a unique geometric design on its large midsole, complete with protruding rectangles, circles, and triangles along the front half of the midsole. The rear side of the midsole gets wider as it extends from the base of the shoe to the bottom of the sole, which is not only a style choice as this increases the standing surface area for balance.
The main shoe is fully monochromatic with various shades of black across its nylon body. As for the New Balance branding, there is a large black leather "N" on the upper. The black XC-72 has an overall futuristic, edgy design that fits nicely with various darker-themed styles such as "techwear" and "darkwear."
