The Latests Collection by Esrawe Studio Boasts Four New Styles
Kalin Ned — January 8, 2019 — Art & Design
For Design Week Mexico, local design firm Esrawe Studio exhibits a new collection of black wooden furniture that proves to be interesting, aesthetically pleasing, and one that can be easily integrated into the contemporary home interior. The manufacturing of the pieces called for solid red oak, which the creatives stained black to achieve an elevated and sophisticated look. In addition, the firm uses black oil to seal and prolong the lifespan of the coloring.
The collection includes a bookshelf, two chairs, and a dining table. The forms of the black wooden furniture are interesting and minimalist, as Esrawe Studio slightly altered traditional silhouettes. The Cartela bookshelf, for example, boasts a wide design where the vertical separators are placed at an angle.
