The Bionic Insect Bus was a design that was issued into a competition for Michelin. The design takes the standard and often boring bus image and puts it into warp drive towards the future.
Where did it come from (did you read the title)? This eco-bus is inspired by some of the smallest lifeforms that we see from day to day: insects. The bus features 8-separated wheels all running on an in-wheel electric engine. There are solar panels on the top of the bus and doors that open like butterfly wings.
It’s a bulky beast with a whole lot of bug beauty.
