The Vegan Virya Biodegradable Leather Alternative is Versatile

The Vegan Virya biodegradable leather alternative has been created by India-based P A Footwear in collaboration with the National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (NIIST) as a new solution for the fashion industry.

The material is characterized by its composition that features more than 95% plant-based materials such as sugarcane bagasse along with 60% agro waste content to further increase its eco-friendly nature. The material comes in a variety of non-fading color options for use creating bags, suitcases, sandals and belts, while also featuring the PETA-Approved Vegan seal of approval thanks to certification from PETA India.
