Gucci Released a Line of Bio-Based Dive Watches with Unique Colors

Gucci released a new collection of bio-based dive watches to add to its Gucci Dive collection. The new dive watches are available in four colorways including teal, green, white, and beige. The watches are made out of rubber and steel, though Gucci stated a minimum of 46% of its bracelet and 65% of its case on each watch is made out of bio-based content, though the luxury fashion label did not specify what this bio-based content is.

The remainder of the parts of the watch, such as the hands, crown, and case, are manufactured out of recycled steel, adding to the overall sustainability of each timepiece. For visibility, each watch features phosphorescent dials and hour markers, ensuring that wearers can view the watch even in the dark, or while down underwater, which the watches can manage down to a depth of 200 meters.

The four Gucci Dive bio-based watches are available online at Gucci's webstore at an MSRP of $1,850 USD.
