Vans and BILLY'S Tokyo Work on the Signature Slip-Ons
Vans unveils its latest work in conjunction with BILLY's Tokyo -- the two join forces to create a new pair of the iconic Slip-On shoes. The Japanese retail brand experiments with a variety of textiles, adorning the latest update with a blend of rubber, canvas, chenille, and more.
The uppers' base is made from a canvas material in a soft tan hue sitting atop a rubber midsole foundation in white for a slight contrast. The heel badges are in a stark black and it all sits on top of a vulcanized gum sole at the bottom. The uppers feature vibrant accents in the form of embroidered flowers informed through embroidery in bright colors of yellow, white, pink, green, purple, and more.
